Who We Are

Milton Keynes Islamic & Cultural Association (MKICA CIO) — known as Al-Rawdha Mosque — is a Muslim community organisation based in Central Milton Keynes. We were established in 2001 and registered as a charity in 2008 (Charity No. 1126949). For over two decades we have served the Muslim community of Milton Keynes through worship, education and community development.

Our Services

  • Five Daily Prayers — Congregational Salah for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha every day.
  • Jumu'ah (Friday Prayer) — Weekly Friday prayer open to the entire community.
  • Children's Madrasah — Qur'an memorisation, recitation and Islamic studies for children.
  • Ramadan & Taraweeh — Full Taraweeh prayers throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.
  • Eid Prayers — Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha congregational prayers.
  • Youth Activities — Sports, talks and events for young members of the community.
  • Sisters' Activities — Dedicated programmes and events for women and girls.
  • Volunteering — Volunteers are the backbone of Al-Rawdha Mosque. We welcome anyone who wishes to contribute their time for the sake of Allah.

Extension Project

Al-Rawdha Mosque received planning approval in May 2023 for a major expansion of our premises. The ยฃ1.21 million project will add 120 new prayer spaces, improved wudu facilities, a funeral preparation room and better access for all. Construction began in October 2023. Community Events

We regularly host community events including our annual Eid in the Park celebration at Campbell Park (Avebury Boulevard, MK9 4AJ), Hajj preparation seminars, Qur'an revision days and educational programmes for all ages.
